Dr. Hewett has placed and restored over 20,000 dental implants with cases ranging from simple to the most complex. As a smile restoration expert, he has achieved some of the highest awards in the field of dentistry including becoming an Honored Fellow of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry. He is also only 1 of 450 who have achieved the status of Diplomate of the American Board of Oral Implantology.

He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Northwestern University Dental School in Chicago and holds a Bachelor of Science from Loyola University Chicago, where he was part of the Honors Psychology Program.
